JOB TITLE: Production Worker – KBT Helper

EMPLOYER: Kegel LLC

DEPARTMENT: KBT Production

REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor

EFFECTIVE DATE: 3/3/2025

SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for chemical production and cloth production by performing the following duties.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Rolls and boxes cloth

  • Puts away raw cloth and cores in proper location

  • Notch PVC tubes for cloth used in the lane machine

  • Staples plug into cardboard core for cloth used in the lane machine

  • Use assigned work orders to know what items/products need to be made.

  • Keep work area clean daily and week

  • Assist others as needed in the department

  • Maintains a Forklift License once obtained

  • Maintains a productivity rate of a minimum of 100%

  • Clocked in time into Visual (Work Orders and/or Detailed Indirect Entry) when comparing to paid work hours is a min of 80%.

  • Does all required work within Kegel’s Quality Policy

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • No prior experience or training.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or 3 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Read a tape measure

  • Run drill press/notcher once trained

  • Follow simple instructions

  • Read English

  • Self‐motivated individual

  • Convert feet into yards

  • Forklift License or able to obtain one before 90 days is up

  • COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • To perform this job successfully, an individual will be trained on site using

      employer’s software for clocking in and out of work orders.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Continually required to stand for long periods of time (6‐8 hours)

  • Continually required to walk

  • Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity

  • Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl

  • Continually required to talk or hear

  • Continually work near moving mechanical parts

  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds with the ability to push/pull 300 pounds using equipment.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include: (Close vision; Distance vision; Depth

    perception and ability to adjust focus)
