Level II Certification (5 Day Private Course)

Master Your Lanes!
We at Kegel are completely aware of the importance of hands on training. Most will agree it is sometimes more beneficial to see it, put your own hands upon it and absorb it at a reasonable pace. The first stage of advanced training deals with a realistic setting. The students will start to overhaul and readjust some major components in the lane machine of choice. Much as our own staff does on the road with our mobile technical support vehicle, the students will be able to see aspects of performance or lack of while helping to troubleshoot, rebuild and repair a lane machine that has been heavily used in the field. Many of the situations that the class will encounter through this type of training are very similar to what they presently encounter in their own bowling centers. Once the class has completed the assigned refurbishing tasks they will then move on to operation and on lane adjustment as the final phase of quality control. When the students have met the satisfaction of the instructor, phase 2 will commence.

Phase 2 consists of a type of lane maintenance training and awareness with standard operating procedures that can truly only be offered at Kegel. A world-traveled technician will demonstrate the highest level of standards used in bowling today. We are able to relate to your problems and reward you with solutions. The vast database of topographical lane measurements, oil patterns and research that we have at our disposal is quite amazing. Definitely too much to absorb in one day. Every situation as well as every bowling center is different. For this reason the number of students allowed to attend each workshop is strictly limited. Smaller classes produce a learning atmosphere that is uninterrupted and well received by the attendees along with a power point presentation that is unchallenged.

We invite you to attend Level II at your convenience. You will not be disappointed. Many of the elite maintenance personnel of the bowling industry have traveled endless miles to attend these types of workshops offered at Kegel. Whether you are a lane man, head mechanic, technical delegate or just on a quest for knowledge you will leave our course with a strong mind and a stronger sense of understanding. Welcome to KEGEL.
